 EFCC Arraigns Austrian For Undeclared $800,585, €651,505 At Lagos Airport The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Directorate 2, Okotie Eboh, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, January 9, 2026, arraigned one  Kavlak Onal, an Austrian national arrested by the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, for allegedly failing to declare the sums of $800,575 and €651,505 in his possession. He was arraigned before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi , Lagos.  Onal who was scheduled to travel on Emirates Airline to Dubai, was on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 intercepted  during a routine check at the AML/ CFT Currency Declaration Desk at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

“Marry women who earn higher than you” – Daddy Freeze updates men

Renowned media personality, Daddy Freeze has shared a fresh update as he advises men to marry women who earn higher than them.

n a video posted on social media, Daddy Freeze updated men with reasons why they ought to marry wealthier women.

He advised men to be bold and make request from ladies of what they can offer to them and also inquire how much they can get for monthly allowance.

According to him, a woman who cannot pay you monthly allowance is not worth your time.

Daddy Freeze cited sons of some influential men and how they also married daughters of other wealthy men.

He noted that it is high time men begin to rate women the same way they are rated.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
