  The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has dismissed a viral claim circulating on social media about the introduction of new ₦5,000 and ₦10,000 banknotes, labeling it as fake news. The claim, which included fabricated images of the supposed new denominations featuring Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe and Chief Obafemi Awolowo, falsely stated that the new notes would enter circulation from May 1, 2025. In a statement on its verified Facebook account, the CBN clarified that the content is not from the bank and directed the public to its official website, (www.cbn.gov.ng), for authentic information. The bank warned against spreading misinformation regarding monetary policies and urged Nigerians to rely only on official statements from its verified channels. “Marry women who earn higher than you” – Daddy Freeze updates men

Renowned media personality, Daddy Freeze has shared a fresh update as he advises men to marry women who earn higher than them.

n a video posted on social media, Daddy Freeze updated men with reasons why they ought to marry wealthier women.

He advised men to be bold and make request from ladies of what they can offer to them and also inquire how much they can get for monthly allowance.

According to him, a woman who cannot pay you monthly allowance is not worth your time.

Daddy Freeze cited sons of some influential men and how they also married daughters of other wealthy men.

He noted that it is high time men begin to rate women the same way they are rated.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
