 AAU Rusticates 34 Medical Students Over Exam Malpractices Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has rusticated 34 students from its College of Medicine for involvement in exam malpractices during the 2022/2023 academic session. According to a university bulletin signed by F.O. Omoigui and Otunba Mike Ade Aladenika, the affected students—mostly in 300, 400, and 500 levels—were penalized with rustications ranging from two to four semesters following a disciplinary committee report. Offenses included smuggling materials into exam halls, impersonation, and refusing to submit scripts. Six students were cleared, two advised to be of good conduct, and one received a warning. The university reaffirmed its zero-tolerance stance on academic misconduct.

Minister Of Education Commissions Projects Executed By NECO 

The Minister of Education Professor Tahir Mamman has commissioned 70 new operational vehicles and other four distinctive projects executed by NECO with an an assurance that the Federal Government will continue to commit substantial amount of resources to the development of education in Nigeria.

Minister of Education Professor Tahir Mamman stated this while commissioning the 70 brand new operational vehicles, An ICT centre and Drivers fool among others in Minna Niger state.

Represented by the Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Education Dr Andrew David Adejo the Minister commended Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi for living above board stressing that development of education remain the number one priority of present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Prof Tahir Mamman however would wants NECO to consider providing flying boats at riverine areas especially from states of Bayelsa Rivers Lagos and Niger among others to ease their work of providing seamless and transparent examination in Nigeria and beyond.

NECO Registrar and Chief Executive Professor Dantani Wushishi said he is truly grateful for the support of ministry of Education, Minister of Education Staff and Management Borad of NECO in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to him three new NECO offices at Katsina Gombe and Kogi states have reached seventy percent completion level and that they were contructed through the NECO Internally Generated Revenue IGR.

Prof Dantani Wushishi explained that another seven new offices are to have their ground breaking flag off by the Minister of Education Professor Tahir Mamman soon

In their goodwill messages from SAVI Com office NECO Director Finance and ICPC applauded the Registrar and Chief Executive for his untiring efforts at rejuvenating NECO and advised the Federal Government to extend his tenure and that of members of the board to achieve meaningful results.
