 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. POWA ORGANIZES ANNUAL CONFERENCE WEEK 


As President Rolls Out Empowerment Scheme; Event to Span 6th to 8th December 2023

The Police Officers' Wives Association (POWA) is eagerly anticipating its annual conference week, slated to take place from the 6th to the 8th of December, 2023. This significant gathering is poised to unveil a transformative empowerment scheme spearheaded by the POWA President, Mrs. Queen Elizabeth Egbetokun.

This conference, spanning three days, is strategically designed to offer members a platform for engagement, collaboration, and empowerment. Mrs. Egbetokun's unveiling of the empowerment scheme is expected to be a pivotal moment, marking a commitment to positive change within the community of police officers' families. Beyond its ceremonial significance, the conference will address crucial issues affecting police officers' families, underscoring POWA's dedication to community building and the overall welfare of its members.

The Annual Conference Week will feature an opening ceremony at the POWA National Secretariat, Mambilla Barracks Asokoro; Empowerment and Sports at the POWA International School Area 11, Garki, Abuja; and a Dinner and Awards event at the Space and Function Event Centre, City Park, Wuse 2, Abuja. The empowerment scheme is a multifaceted initiative aimed at uplifting and supporting POWA members. Activities include skill acquisition programs, capacity-building workshops, and economic empowerment initiatives, all geared towards fostering personal and professional development.

The POWA President assures of the commitment of her administration to community service, reiterating that the conference week serves as a focal point for strengthening community ties and fostering unity among members.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
