 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. Rivers crisis: Court declares Fubara’s ally, Ehie, authentic Speaker

A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Tuesday, confirmed Edison Ehie as the authentic Speaker of the state’s House of Assembly.

Ehie is one of the four lawmakers backing Governor Siminalayi Fubara in the ongoing face-off between him and his immediate predecessor, Nyesom Wike.

Edison was suspended and removed as leader of the House by his colleagues who are loyal to Wike, the current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Giving the ruling, Justice M.W. Danagogo also ordered Martins Amaewhule and Dumle Maol to stop parading themselves as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.

The court also warned against using thugs and policemen to gain access to the Assembly Complex.

The political crisis rocking the state took a new turn on Monday when about 27 lawmakers dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
