 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. RMD, Wife Celebrate 23rd Wedding Anniversary


Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, popularly known as RMD, and his wife, Jumobi, are celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary.


The actor posted a photo of him and his wife on his Instagram account on Friday.


He wrote, “Abiks, how are we even 23 years in this journey of life together?”


RMD gained prominence for his part in the late 80’s television soap opera titled ‘Ripples’. He has since then featured in hundreds of Nollywood movies.


The couple got married on December 29, 2000.

This was after the death of May Ellen-Ezekiel, the actor’s first wife, in 1996.


Since she tied the knot with RMD, Jumobi, the popular TV presenter, has been absent from the media space.


Their union is blessed with four children — two males, and two females.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
