  GOV. SANWO-OLU OFFICIALLY COMMISSIONS LAGOS STATE COMMERCIAL COURT AT TAPA, LAGOS ISLAND, ON TUESDAY APRIL 15, 2025. Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has officially commissioned the Lagos State Commercial Court at Tapa, Lagos Island, today, Tuesday, April 15,2025. This development is expected to enhance the state's judicial system, particularly in commercial dispute resolution.   The establishment of the commercial court is a significant milestone in the state's efforts to promote a conducive business environment and ensure efficient justice delivery.  More details later and more photos below.

Three Traditional Rulers In Oyo State D!e In Road Accident

Three traditional rulers in the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State lost their lives in a road crash at the Arinkinkin area of Ogbomoso on Friday.

The three deceased Obas from the local government were; Olodogbo of Odogbo, Onibowula of Bowula, and Alayetoro of Ayetoro.

According to reports, the Obas were said to be on their way to the burial ceremony of the mother of another traditional ruler, Oloolo of Oolo, Oba Oyebunmi Ajayi, when the accident occurred following which their vehicle ramming into an oncoming truck.

Olodogbo was confirmed to have died on the spot but it was unclear at what point the other two monarchs passed away.

A source at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, confirmed the incident to Ogbomoso Insight Online, informing newsmen that their bodies were deposited in the hospitalā€™s morgue.

t was revealed that the fourth victim who sustained injuries was being attended to in the hospital ā€œbut he doesnā€™t look like an Oba,ā€ the source said.
