 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. Three Traditional Rulers In Oyo State D!e In Road Accident

Three traditional rulers in the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State lost their lives in a road crash at the Arinkinkin area of Ogbomoso on Friday.

The three deceased Obas from the local government were; Olodogbo of Odogbo, Onibowula of Bowula, and Alayetoro of Ayetoro.

According to reports, the Obas were said to be on their way to the burial ceremony of the mother of another traditional ruler, Oloolo of Oolo, Oba Oyebunmi Ajayi, when the accident occurred following which their vehicle ramming into an oncoming truck.

Olodogbo was confirmed to have died on the spot but it was unclear at what point the other two monarchs passed away.

A source at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, confirmed the incident to Ogbomoso Insight Online, informing newsmen that their bodies were deposited in the hospital’s morgue.

t was revealed that the fourth victim who sustained injuries was being attended to in the hospital “but he doesn’t look like an Oba,” the source said.
