 Terry Crews’ Wife Rebecca Reveals Parkinson’s Battle 11 Years After Diagnosis: ‘Seeing Improvement’ Terry Crews and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, have opened up about a deeply personal health journey that the family has been quietly navigating for more than a decade. During Monday’s episode of the Today show, Rebecca, 60, revealed that she has been living with Parkinson’s since receiving her diagnosis in 2015, though the first warning signs appeared years earlier. Looking back, she said it all began around 2012 with a slight numbness in her left foot. Not long after, her trainer noticed something unusual in the way she walked, particularly that one of her arms was no longer swinging naturally. Then came the moment that truly raised alarm. UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT PROMOTES 43 TO RANK OF PROFESSOR, 22 TO RANK OF READER


43 senior academics of the University of Port Harcourt are now promoted to the rank of professor.

They were considered suited to benefit from the new round of promotion in the institution.

A notice made public by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Dr. Samuel Kpenu, said 22 other senior academics were promoted to the rank of associate professor (readers).

It stated that the promotion was sequel to the approval by the Minister of Education on Friday, December 8, 2023.

There has been an earlier meeting of the Central A&PC Academic of the University of Port Harcourt on Thursday, November 23, 2023, where the newly promoted academics were recommended.

A breakdown of the promotion showed that the Faculty of Science got ten new professors, Faculty of Education got ten new professors, Faculty of CHS got eight new professors, Faculty of Humanities got seven new professors, while the Faculty of Agriculture got three new professors. 

The Faculty of Social Science got one, Faculty of Engineering got one, Faculty of Management got one, and the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies got one.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
