McDonald’s launches World Cup meal and collectible cups ahead of 2026 FIFA tournament kickoff McDonald’s is launching limited-time World Cup meals and collectibles ahead of the FIFA tournament kickoff on June 11, as excitement builds for the expanded 48-team competition co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. The fast-food chain, returning as an official tournament sponsor, will roll out its World Cup-themed menu nationwide starting June 4. Customers can choose between a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets meal, both served with a special gold-packaged Big Mac Sauce. As part of the promotion, McDonald’s is also releasing collectible cups featuring nine global soccer stars and cultural icons. The lineup includes Christian Pulisic, David Beckham, Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Son Heung-Min, Lamine Yamal, Alphonso Davies, Santiago Gimenez, and the brand’s mascot Grimace. UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT PROMOTES 43 TO RANK OF PROFESSOR, 22 TO RANK OF READER


43 senior academics of the University of Port Harcourt are now promoted to the rank of professor.

They were considered suited to benefit from the new round of promotion in the institution.

A notice made public by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Dr. Samuel Kpenu, said 22 other senior academics were promoted to the rank of associate professor (readers).

It stated that the promotion was sequel to the approval by the Minister of Education on Friday, December 8, 2023.

There has been an earlier meeting of the Central A&PC Academic of the University of Port Harcourt on Thursday, November 23, 2023, where the newly promoted academics were recommended.

A breakdown of the promotion showed that the Faculty of Science got ten new professors, Faculty of Education got ten new professors, Faculty of CHS got eight new professors, Faculty of Humanities got seven new professors, while the Faculty of Agriculture got three new professors. 

The Faculty of Social Science got one, Faculty of Engineering got one, Faculty of Management got one, and the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies got one.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
