 The Traditional Ruler of Azumini Ndoki Ancient Kingdom in Ukwa East LGA, Abia State, HRM Eze Edward Eule (Onyenweali X), has dismissed claims by some of his subjects that he abandoned his throne following his temporary absence from the community. This is as six suspects have been arrested by the police in connection with the stealing of the community’s electricity transformer, thus plunging the community into darkness. The monarch, who is currently in the U.S, explained that his trip was to attend to personal and professional matters, adding that he will soon return to Nigeria. "I travelled to the United States of America in May 2025 to attend to some professional and personal matters. I am robustly healthy and fine, and I may soon conclude the task of my sojourn here", he said. Prof. Eule accused individuals he described as "mischief-makers operating under the guise of an Interim Ruling Council" of peddling falsehoods and propaganda about his alleged abdication. ...

VETERAN BROADCASTER BABA OMI BECOMES GM OF NEWLY BIRTHED RADIO MELODY FM



A newly established firm, Melody 107.7 FM which is set to launch proper on the 1st of December 2023 has announced Niyi Omisope as her General Manager, a media firm owned by the renowned man of God, Prophet Sam Adebayo Ojo aka Baba Authority.

As a thespian and a member of ANCEDRAM and TAMPAN, he adds poems and plays to his credit. 


During a recent interview with our correspondent, Prophet Ojo further disclosed that his media firms are designed to capture the attention of all and sundry by using the platform to solve various difficulties faced by the community and our society, he also revealed about Melody FM sister companies situated in Ogun state, Oyo and other parts of Nigeria.


He further added that he sees Baba Omi as one of the necessary forces to deliver the right drives to Lagos listeners and beyond.


Omisope Chris Olaniyi popularly known as Baba Omi is a highly versatile on air personality, a trained banker with a degree in Banking and Finance but acquired broadcasting knowledge by many years of studying, researching and reading a lot about the profession. 


He has always had flare for radio presentation since when he was 13 years old which enthusiastically got him hooked to the microphone business.


He had stint in broadcasting at Independent Radio Benin, Edo State by co-anchoring a certain Yoruba show.


After working with the federal parastatal of Nigeria for two decades, he resigned to pursue his first love which is broadcasting in 2018.


He contested and emerged winner of the Inspiration fm Lagos “IFM Next Radio Super Star 2019”.


He worked with Lasgidifm 90.1 as an OAP with the designation as Yoruba presenter/Assistant Production Officer.


While working with Lasgidi fm 90.1 Lagos, he rose to become the Human Resource Personnel before he voluntarily resigned to take up his recent appointment as the General Manager of Melody 107.7 fm.


Baba Omi is a broadcaster that sees his programs as his baby and nurtures them and he also believes in impacting people in his own capacity.


His watchword are “When preparation meets opportunity, breakthrough occurs”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
