   Rivers State Police Arrest 'Veryblackman' Over Alleged Death Threats to Comedian DeeOne The Rivers State Police Command has arrested the controversial social media personality widely known as "Veryblackman" (also identified as Veryblackman of Port Harcourt or VeryDarkMan’s brother) following allegations that he threatened the life of Nigerian comedian and reality television star, DeeOne. The suspect was taken into custody on Saturday after he reportedly ignored prior invitations from law enforcement. Following his arrest in Rivers State, he was immediately transferred to Lagos on Sunday to face further questioning and investigation. The Origin of the Threat The feud between the two online figures reached a boiling point in June 2026, when Veryblackman allegedly threatened to kill DeeOne. ‘You’re not an actor if you can’t kiss on screen’ – Veteran actress, Taiwo Ajai

Veteran Nollywood actress, Taiwo Ajai-Lycett says a “true actor” should be willing to embrace all aspects of their profession, including sharing a kiss on screen.
According to her, any thespian who is unwilling to engage in on-screen kisses isn’t a “true actor.”
She emphasized the importance of separating personal preferences from movie roles.
The veteran actress noted that bringing one’s personal beliefs into acting, such as reluctance to engage in on-screen kisses, reflects a lack of dedication to the profession.
“If you can’t kiss on screen, you’re not an actor, you don’t bring your personal preferences into play,” KFN quoted Ajai as saying in a recent interview.
