 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Abducted Lagos PDP chairman Philip Aivoji regains freedom


Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos Chapter, Philip Aivoji, has regained freedom four days after gunmen along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway abducted him. 

Lagos PDP Publicity Secretary, Hakeem Amode, confirmed this in a terse statement on Monday.

The Nation learnt Aivoji was released around 11pm on Sunday and was taken to his country home in Badagry to reunite with family.

Amode said: “Lagos State PDP Chairman released by the Kidnappers.

 “Hon Philip Olabode Aivoji the Lagos State PDP Chairman is free at last after 4days in the Kidnappers’ den. We use this opportunity to appreciate your prayers most importantly because God’s mercies was visible all the way.

“Thank You All for your concerns and prayers,”

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
