 Walton, Kentucky- 2 elderly women lose their lives and another individual is critically injured in a crash that caused a dump truck to crash through restaurant.  While diners were enjoying a meal at Boondocks Pub on Tuesday, April 8th, a tragic incident occurred shattering the peaceful scene. At around 4:30 p.m. an SUV pulled out in front of a fully loaded dump truck. The driver of the dump truck attempted to brake and steer clear of the SUV but they were not able to avoid a collision. The SUV was struck by the dump truck and the impact caused the SUV to cross the southbound lane where it struck a guardrail and flipped before coming to rest on its top. Sadly the crash took the lives of 91-year-old Eva Mulberry and 89-year-old Betty Holland. A 66-year-old woman who was in the SUV was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. ARMED BANDITS KILL WOMAN WHO ATTEMPTED TO ESCAPE KIDNAP IN BENUE



An engineer, Martha Kwaghdoo Anderson was brutally killed by armed bandits on the Makurdi-Naka Road in Benue State.

It was gathered that the woman was shot dead by the gunmen while trying to escape a kidnap on Thursday evening, December 28, 2023.

The Naka/Makurdi Road has become notorious for kidnapping.

Some motorists said the deplorable state of the road was responsible for the frequent abductions along the federal highway.

Details of the sad incident are still sketchy at the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, friends, family members and colleagues have taken to Facebook to mourn her.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha.
