  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. COTE D'IVOIRE REQUESTED TO LOAN FRANCE WOMEN COACH,HERVE RENARD UNTILL THE END OF AFCON.(PHOTO).

Cote d'Ivoire requested to loan France Women Coach, Herve Renard until the end of the AFCON.


French Football Federation have rejected their request.


He led Zambia and Cote d'Ivoire to win the AFCON in 2012 and 2015. He led Saudi Arabia to their 2-1 win over Argentina at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.


He qualified Morocco for their first FIFA World Cup in 20 years in 2018.


He has also managed Angola, Lille, USM Alger, Sochaux, Cambridge United and Nam Dinh.


He was named CAF Coach of the Year in 2012, 2015 and 2018.
