 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

Five persons die, 30 rescued in Anambra boat crash

Five persons have been confirmed dead and 30 others rescued in a boat accident that occurred in River Niger around Mmiata Anam in Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.

It was gathered that the boat was sailing from Kogi State to Anambra through the River Niger before it got capsized at the Mmiata banks of the river.

A source in the riverine area of the community told our correspondent that the incident happened on Sunday morning.

A video made available to newsmen by the source showed that the deceased were mainly women and children.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
