 Site Engineer Killed in Delta by Employees After Discovering Large Sum of Money in His Account A gruesome murder has shaken the community in Delta State, Nigeria, where a site engineer, Chigozie Udalor, was killed by his employees after they discovered he had a substantial amount of money in his bank account.¹ According to the police spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, the incident occurred on December 10, 2024, when Udalor's cousin, Hyacinth Nnalue, reported him missing. Nnalue stated that Udalor was the site manager at his fish pond in Bod camp Akwukwu Igbo community. The police launched an investigation, which led to the arrest of two suspects, David Tacho and Daniel Orshio, on March 31, 2025. Tacho was caught attempting to withdraw money from Udalor's account using his phone. Preliminary investigations revealed that all four suspects, including two still at large, Pius Daniel and Victor Tacho, were employed by Udalor. Gov Namadi Appoints Adamu Sabo as JISEPA Managing Director

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has approved the appointment of Adamu Sabo as the new Managing Director, Jigawa State Environmental Protection Agency JISEPA.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim in Dutse, the Jigawa State Capital. 

The appointment of the new Managing Director followed the retirement of the former Managing Director, Engineer Ahmed Lawal from service on 24th December, 2023.

Until his appointment, Adamu Sabo, is the Director Environmental Health and is also currently running the affairs of the Agency in acting capacity.

The statement explains that the appointment of the appointee is based on merit, competence and personal integrity. 

It says that Adamu Sabo became a part of the State Civil Service in 1998 as an Environmental Health Officer. He was seconded to UNICEF/Deloitte, serving as a UNICEF WASH Consultant from 2017 to 2022.

The statement urges the new Managing Director to leverage his experience and work diligently for the sound execution of this administration's policies and programs.
