 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. "I WASN'T A TEAM PLAYER" - MAN LOSES HIS JOB AFTER HE REFUSES TO LET HIS MANAGER EAT HIS FOOD

"I wasn't a team player" - Man loses his job after he refuses to let his manager eat his food.

A man identified as Somto has revealed how he lost his job not long after he declined the attempt of his boss to taste his food.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the said media user who currently works at another establishment, narrated a one-time experience at his old job and what he believes made his boss sack him.

He maintained that the incident happened on a specific day when his boss, who was fond of eating workers’ food, started tasting everyone’s food one after another.

But before it got to his turn, he hid his food to prevent his boss from tasting it.

However, his boss knew this and stared into his eyes with a mean look, and just a week after that, he was fired by the said boss for not being a team player.

His statement: “I got fired from a workplace because I didn’t let the manager eat from my lunch. He always went around eating from everyone’s lunch, so one day, I quickly packed up all of my food before he got to me. He gave me a long, angry stare. I was fired the following week.”

In a similar post, the young man, when asked the reason he was fired for, wrote “I wasn’t a team player.”
