 So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

Ibadan Explosion Unfortunate - Speaker Abbas Laments Tragedy

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, has described as unfortunate, the explosion in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Tuesday night.

  The Speaker, in statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Musa Abdullahi Krishi, called for proper investigation of the incident and possible arrest and prosecution of those suspected to have caused the explosion.

 The Speaker said it was terrifying for an explosion in a peaceful and populated ancient city like Ibadan.

According to the Speaker It is more worrisome that it happened at a time when the government is tackling various security issues and threats to lives and property

Dr. Tajudeen while praying to God to comfort the victims and their families, extended his condolences to the government and the people of Oyo State,
