 MISSING CHILDREN SAFELY RETURNED TO WANNUNE AFTER ABDUCTION ATTEMPT Relief and jubilation swept through the IF Academy settlement in Wannune, Tarka LGA of Benue State, as children who went missing last October have been safely reunited with their families.   According to Timothy Chusa, who reported the incident to Benue Info-pedia, the children were taken by a Tiv girl to Nasarawa State, where she resides. Community members revealed that the suspect had allegedly planned to sell the children. However, before the plan could be executed, information reached Wannune, prompting swift intervention.   Faced with mounting pressure, the suspect was compelled to return the children unharmed. Ibadan Explosion Unfortunate - Speaker Abbas Laments Tragedy

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, has described as unfortunate, the explosion in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Tuesday night.

  The Speaker, in statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Musa Abdullahi Krishi, called for proper investigation of the incident and possible arrest and prosecution of those suspected to have caused the explosion.

 The Speaker said it was terrifying for an explosion in a peaceful and populated ancient city like Ibadan.

According to the Speaker It is more worrisome that it happened at a time when the government is tackling various security issues and threats to lives and property

Dr. Tajudeen while praying to God to comfort the victims and their families, extended his condolences to the government and the people of Oyo State,
