 “No electricity, no vote,” South Africans threaten to shun ruling party ANC Residents in Katlehong, a township outside Johannesburg, have resolved to boycott South Africa's upcoming local elections on November 4 due to long-standing failures by authorities to provide basic services like electricity. For over 20 years, around 180 households in the community have relied on illegal electrical connections pulled from neighboring areas to power their homes. Angry over the lack of formal grid infrastructure, residents are directing their frustration at the ruling African National Congress (ANC). "We have made a collective decision: no electricity, no vote," said community leader Lesiba Rankapole, 59. "We know it is illegal, but we had no choice because we cannot live without electricity. I’m not interested in Sadio Mane’s money, fame – Aisha Tamba

Sadio Mane’s wife, Aisha Tamba has insisted that she is not interested in her husband’s money or fame.
According to her, Mane’s fame and money will not change her.
She revealed that she is ready to face the upcoming challenges in her married life.
Recall that Mane tied the knot with Tamba during a private ceremony in Dakar, Senegal, last week.
Speaking about her married life, Tamba said (via Mail Online), “I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different. But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me. This is not what I’m interested in.
“I will remain a humble person committed to my faith.
“I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. I am a very down-to-earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage.
“But I’m very honoured to now be Mrs Mane.”
