LAGOS WARNS PROSPECTIVE BUYERS OF HARMONY COURT APARTMENTS

… Says House Height Limited, Not Agent of LASG

The Lagos State Ministry of Housing has warned prospective home buyers to be wary of a real estate developer, House Height Limited’, claiming to be an agent of the State Government.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing, Engr. Abdulhafis Toriola issued the warning after a recent meeting with stakeholders, advising prospective homeowners, particularly those in the diaspora, to refrain from transacting any business with the firm and its agents on any matter relating to Harmony Court along Command Road, Ipaja, Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.

Toriola pointed out that the Managing Director of House Height Limited, Mrs. Ngozi Elizabeth Ola-David, who is also known as Ngozi Elizabeth Phil-Ebosie, is not an agent or partner of the Lagos State Government and has not been appointed to deal with anyone on behalf of the State Government in respect of three-bedroom apartments at Harmony Estate. "Any claim by anyone that he or she is an appointed agent by the Ministry is false and should be disregarded", he affirmed.

He further revealed that the erstwhile partnership between the State Government and House Height Limited has been terminated for non-performance in line with the terms and conditions of the contractual agreement.

Engr. Abdulhafis Toriola said the general public should, therefore, disregard the purported claim of ownership by House Height Limited, saying, "Anyone who deals with the firm or its agents or buys a home from her in violation of this warning does so at his or her own risk".

The Director of Legal Services, Lagos State Ministry of Housing, Mrs. Bukade Idowu-Koya advised that anyone interested in the Homes should contact the office of the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Housing, Block 3, Second Floor, Secretariat, Alausa-Ikeja.
