 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. My greatest blessing is being of British descent, says Uriel Oputa


Reality TV star, Uriel Oputa, has shared her satisfaction about being a British citizen in response to skit maker OGB Recent’s advice for non-millionaire Nigerians.

The Nation reported that OGB Recent over the weekend revealed that those who haven’t made it in life financially shouldn’t be sleeping at night.

In response to his remarks, Uriel conveyed her delight in being both a Nigerian and a British citizen.

Uriel also said that being half British is a blessing because Nigerians have an innate tendency to pressure others until they begin to question their beliefs.

She expressed her views on the tendency of many Nigerians to stereotype and categorize individuals.

She encouraged them to travel more for broader exposure and a diversified perspective, cautioning against narrow-mindedness.

Uriel wrote: “My biggest blessing is being part British. Some Nigerians will squeeze you until no self belief. They thrive in placing individuals into categories and Stereotypes. You can’t do this because……. Nigeria is one place where potential Billionaires have been subjected into Not following their heads But trends. I will always advise one To travel You are more than you Think.”

While sharing OGB Recent’s statement in another post, she wrote: “My point exactly about Nigeria If you listen to people like you are messed up.”

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
