 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here.  Over 3m Girls Benefitted From $500m World Bank Education Grant — FG


The Federal Government of Nigeria has disclosed that no fewer than 3 million girls across the country have so far benefited from the World Bank’s $500 million loan to Nigeria, under the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) project. 


Minister of State for Education, Honourable Yusuf Sununu, made this known at a programme marking 2023 International Day for the Girl Child celebration on Wednesday in Abuja.


He noted that the AGILE project has brought about substantial increase in enrolment of girls and retention in schools across the country.


He further disclosed that while more than 90,298 girls have received financial incentives (scholarships) to help them stay in school, about 199,921 girls have received scholarships in the first 7 implementing states.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
