Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply. The moment camera zoomed in on James Brown while Evang. Ebuka Obi was about to pray for ‘all the people with Ogbanje spirit’.


James Brown was singled out by the media team at a cross over service when the minister prayed for “people with Ogbanje spirit.”

The crossdresser visited the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach with actress Destiny Etiko.

During deliverance session, Evangelist Ebuka Obi said, “All the people with Ogbanje spirit, you are set free today.”

As he said this, the camera panned to James Brown’s face and the crossdresser is seen saying, “Amen.”

The church erupted in laughter, causing Evang. Obi to ask: “What is the issue?”

At this point, James Brown waves as the camera remains on him.

Ebuke Obi then says as the camera leaves James and focuses on him: “Zion is a prayer ground for everybody.”

The camera returns to James Brown again and he blows a kiss before Obi continued his deliverance prayer.

“Deliverance upon any man or woman here. Be set free,” Obi prayed.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
