 Texas man arrested with 75 pounds of marijuana in luggage while flying to London, police say A Texas man was arrested at Miami International Airport after authorities found 75 pounds of marijuana in his luggage before he could board a flight to London. Harrison O’Neill Tiernan, 23, from Austin, was charged with cannabis trafficking. He was traveling to Heathrow Airport and had checked two suitcases for his British Airways flight. Inspectors discovered 65 vacuum-sealed packages containing a green, leafy substance later confirmed to be marijuana. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers stopped Tiernan while he attempted to board the flight, and he acknowledged that the bags were his. Authorities noted the inspections were part of broader efforts at the airport due to high outbound narcotics activity. In total, Tiernan was carrying 34.01 kilograms, or 74.98 pounds, of marijuana. US Mayor honours Reno Omokri with key to Blanco city

Author and social media influencer, Reno Omokri has been honoured with a key to the city of Blanco, Texas by Mayor Mike Arnold at Ambroseli National Park, Kenya.
The former Presidential spokesperson, according to the Mayor, received the honour for his contributions to humanitarian causes and the advancement of human knowledge.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Arnold said: “In recognition of your notable contributions to humanity and making the world a better place, it is my profound honour to give you a key to the City of Blanco as the Mayor of the city. Youths have friends in Texas.”
Mayor Arnold, a notable Trump supporter, praised Omokri for his commitment to the conservative ideals of family, morals, and godliness.
The ceremony which was star-studded was attended by former Cross River Governor Donald Duke; Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, British actor Wale Ojo; gospel music star Panam Percy Paul, and HRH King Stephen Jeremiah Tobins, Akee X (JP) Nwamoema of Bukuma, Rivers State.
