 US to revoke all visas held by South Sudanese passport holders The United States on Saturday said it would revoke all visas held by South Sudanese passport holders, over its failure to accept the return of its repatriated citizens, AP reported. Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused the African nation’s government of “taking advantage of the United States”. “Every country must accept the return of its citizens in a timely manner when another country, including the United States, seeks to remove them,” he said. The decision comes at a time when many in Africa fear that South Sudan could return to the civil war that killed 400,000 people between 2013 and 2018. Besides revoking visas, Rubio said Washington would block any new visas “to prevent entry into the United States by South Sudanese passport holders”. US Mayor honours Reno Omokri with key to Blanco city

Author and social media influencer, Reno Omokri has been honoured with a key to the city of Blanco, Texas by Mayor Mike Arnold at Ambroseli National Park, Kenya.
The former Presidential spokesperson, according to the Mayor, received the honour for his contributions to humanitarian causes and the advancement of human knowledge.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Arnold said: “In recognition of your notable contributions to humanity and making the world a better place, it is my profound honour to give you a key to the City of Blanco as the Mayor of the city. Youths have friends in Texas.”
Mayor Arnold, a notable Trump supporter, praised Omokri for his commitment to the conservative ideals of family, morals, and godliness.
The ceremony which was star-studded was attended by former Cross River Governor Donald Duke; Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, British actor Wale Ojo; gospel music star Panam Percy Paul, and HRH King Stephen Jeremiah Tobins, Akee X (JP) Nwamoema of Bukuma, Rivers State.
