 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. Yul Edochie Pens Tribute On Late Son's Posthumous Birthday

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has penned a heartfelt note on what would have been his late son Kambilichukwu's 17th birthday. 

Expressing his grief on his Instagram account on Thursday, Yul expressed the pain of losing a son and recounts a dream where Kambi appeared taller, handsome, and joyful. 

Yul also acknowledged the difficulty of life without his son but emphasises his strength for the sake of his siblings, relying on God's will.

He wrote, "Kambi yooooo! Happy 17th birthday, my great son.Hope you’re doing well over there.I never knew I’ll ever do a write-up like this, but here we are. Life.

"I kept asking God to let me see you again, and he granted my wish. And I saw you once in my dream. You looked much taller and more handsome. And bigger. You were glowing. Seems you’re now playing basketball over there and left football. You looked very happy.

"Obviously, life over there is quite different from here. Down here, we’re doing our best to cope. It’s not been easy without you around. The pain is terrible. But I’m strong. Very strong. I have to be strong for me and your siblings. While submitting totally to the will of God.

'We miss you. We love you, but God loves you more. You’re elevated now. Keep watching over us all. Keep flying, son. Till we meet again. Don’t stop playing football. Happy 17th birthday, Son. Daddy loves you.”

Recall that Yul and his estranged wife, May lost their first son, in January.

According to reports, Kambilichukwu had read throughout the night in preparation for his exams. After his examination, he joined his friends to play football, where he slumped and developed a seizure and was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
