 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  AFCON Final, Peseiro's Opportunity to Make History -José Mourinho Portuguese

 professional football manager, José Mourinho, has expressed his support for the Nigerian Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro, ahead of the African Cup of Nations final match, stating that "never has a Portuguese coach won the African Cup." The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager stated this during an interview with FIVEUK which was shared on the medium's X handle on Sunday. Mourinho said, "My best friend in football is in the final. The Nigerian coach is my best friend. He grew up with me. We studied together. We went to university on the same day. We spent five years together every day. We left at the same time. He is probably my biggest friend in football. "Jose (Peseiro), my big friend, and for him a huge opportunity to make history because never has a Portuguese coach won the African Cup."
