An 85-year-old Indiana man lays down his own life to save his wife from vicious dogs.
According to authorities, Pastor William Mundine saw his wife running into their Indianapolis home from 3 dogs on Tuesday. Pastor Mudine, fearing for his wife's safety, exited the home to intervene. Thankfully, Williams' interference helped his wife make it safely inside, unfortunately William did not. Upon exiting the home he was attacked by the 3 dogs.
Sadly, the attack went on until a responding officer fired a shot at one of the dogs. Animal Control was then able to secure the dog, who they say is in stable condition. A short time later, they were able capture a second dog. They are still looking for the 3rd and Indianapolis Police are sharing pictures of the dogs while asking for the public's help identifying the owner of the dogs. Neighbors say the dogs have been running loose for weeks. They have reportedly been involved in at least one other attack.
William was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and passed away from his injuries a short time later.
Our thoughts and prayers are with William's family, congregation and friends. What a brave and selfless man.
