 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Anambra billionaire’s death throws community into confusion


The death of Chief Osondu Nwoye, the Umueze, Amanuke billionaire, in Awka North local government of Anambra state, has thrown the area in confusion 

While some believe he is still alive, others have started counting the losses from his demise. 

Nwoye, according to his kinsmen, was à philanthropist of high repute not only in the sleepy Amanuke community but in the entire Awka North council area. 

The 53-year-old business man, who resides in Ivory Coast, was said to have died during the Nigeria /South Africa match. 

His friend and kinsman, Chief Chikodi Anarah, who is Anambra Commissioner for Home Affairs, told The Nation that it was difficult to believe his death. 

À musician from Amanuke, Chibuzor Okafor (aka ‘onyeoma)  told The Nation that the entire community was in pains, adding “à heavy rain has fallen in Amanuke.”
