  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. CONNECTICUT PASTOR ARRESTED ON METHAMPHETAMINE CHARGES, AUTHORITIES ALLEGED HE SOLD FROM HIS CHURCH RECTORY. (PHOTO).

 Connecticut pastor arrested on methamphetamine charges. Authorities alleged he sold from his church rectory.


63-year-old Herbert Miller was arrested after police conducted a controlled buy.  Miller is a pastor at Woodbury United Methodist Church in Woodbury, Connecticut. 


Police say when he showed up at the arranged spot for the drug deal he was met by police. Miller had both liquid and rock methamphetamine in his possession as well as drug paraphernalia. A subsequent search of his home uncovered additional drugs and paraphernalia.


Miller was arrested and released on $10,000.00 bond and is scheduled in court on February 23rd.
