   King Charles Hosts Maundy Service in Wales for the First Time in Decades King Charles and Queen Camilla were in Wales on April 2 for the Royal Maundy Service, marking a rare return of the tradition to the country.  It was the first time the event has been held in Wales since 1982, and only the second time in the service’s long history. The ceremony took place at St. Asaph Cathedral in north Wales, and it carried personal significance for Prince William and Kate Middleton.  Since King Charles became monarch in September 2022, William and Kate have held the historic titles of Prince and Princess of Wales, frequently visiting the region in their new roles.  King Charles himself carried the title of Prince of Wales for 64 years before ascending the throne, adding another layer of meaning to the occasion.  Davido fulfills pledge of N300m to orphanages across Nigeria


Grammy-nominated singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has fulfilled his pledge to donate N300 million to orphanages across Nigeria.

The Nation reported on Tuesday, February 20, that the singer publicly announced his annual commitment to supporting orphanage homes through his foundation.

He said the donation is his significant regular contribution to the country.

However, a skeptic likened Davido’s gesture to a movie reference, suggesting it was merely for publicity.

He wrote: “This dude reminds me of that movie….”She Must Be Obeyed”. Oju Aiye Sha”.

Davido promptly responded by sharing screenshots of the credit alert to his foundation’s account, which would facilitate the distribution of the funds to orphanages.

He assured that further information regarding the donation would be provided soon.

He wrote: “Foundation account credited. More details to follow soon.”

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
