 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Davido fulfills pledge of N300m to orphanages across Nigeria


Grammy-nominated singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has fulfilled his pledge to donate N300 million to orphanages across Nigeria.

The Nation reported on Tuesday, February 20, that the singer publicly announced his annual commitment to supporting orphanage homes through his foundation.

He said the donation is his significant regular contribution to the country.

However, a skeptic likened Davido’s gesture to a movie reference, suggesting it was merely for publicity.

He wrote: “This dude reminds me of that movie….”She Must Be Obeyed”. Oju Aiye Sha”.

Davido promptly responded by sharing screenshots of the credit alert to his foundation’s account, which would facilitate the distribution of the funds to orphanages.

He assured that further information regarding the donation would be provided soon.

He wrote: “Foundation account credited. More details to follow soon.”
