 FG reaffirms commitment to North-East inclusion in Agro-Industrial Project amid exclusion claims The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has dismissed concerns raised by the North-East Caucus of the National Assembly regarding the alleged exclusion of the region from the Federal Government's flagship agricultural initiative the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) program. The minister of agriculture and food security Sen. Abubakar Kyari made the clarification over the weekend while briefing the media. He noted that the North-East is not only included in the SAPZ program, but that several states from the region have already met the eligibility criteria for the second phase of the project. The response comes on the heels of public criticisms sparked by the recent groundbreaking ceremonies in Kaduna and Cross River states. Veteran Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey has disclosed that 50 Cent wasn’t the only international artist his colleague, Eedris Abdulkareem, had an altercation with.

According to him, Abdulkareem earlier had an altercation with late American rapper, DMX, during the All African Games in 2003.

He also rubbished Abdulkareem’s claims that Charly Boy betrayed him during the incident with 50 Cent, saying he has a history of beefing international artists.

Daddy Showkey spoke during a recent interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze.

“The same thing Eedris did with 50 Cent is what he did with DMX at Transcorp. DMX was ready to confront him. I was among the people that pleaded with him,” Showkey said.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
