 MISSING KANSHIO LADY REAPPEARS, FAMILY RAISES ALARM OVER CONFLICTING STORIES  11th January, 2026      The family of a young woman earlier reported missing in Kanshio, Makurdi, Benue State, has raised fresh concerns after she contacted them to say she was not missing and had travelled to Port Harcourt for work. A family source told Benue Info-pedia, that the woman reached out a day after alerts about her disappearance circulated on social media, urging relatives to stop searching for her and to discontinue further posts about the matter. However, the explanation has triggered suspicion within the family, following what they described as inconsistent details surrounding her movements. According to the source, the woman had travelled to Gboko during the Christmas period to stay with her elder sister, where she reportedly met a man and began interacting with him.  EFCC Arrests 40 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Abuja,  Keffi

 

Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, have arrested 40 suspected internet fraudsters.

 

They were arrested on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Mpape in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja and Keffi, Nasarawa State.

 

The suspects, comprising 38 male and two female, were arrested following credible information on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences. 

 

Items recovered from them include two cars, 56 phones, four smart watches, eight power banks and four laptops.

 

They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
