 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment.  EPL: I’m pushing Osimhen to join Chelsea, he loves the club – Mikel Obi


Former Super Eagles midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has joked that he is the agent to Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen and said he is trying to get him to join Chelsea.


Osimhen is expected to cost his next club as much as €130million, which is the value of his release clause.


However, Mikel Obi admits that the Blues face interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.


Mikel said: “I think there’s genuine interest between both (Chelsea and Osimhen).


“I think he loves the club, he wants to come to the club, obviously he wants to follow in my footsteps as a Nigerian player who has played for Chelsea, like Victor Moses, Celestine Babayaro, there’s not a lot of us.


“But he also has a lot of interest, like PSG, Man United, but I’m still pushing, sending him messages, trying to make sure he doesn’t expect too much, just narrow your mind on one club: The Blues!”
