FERGUSON, MISSOURI HOUSE FIRE THAT KILLED A MOTHER AND HER 4 CHILDREN NOW RULED A MURDER/SUICIDE.(PHOTO).

Ferguson, Missouri house fire that killed a mother and her 4 children now ruled a murder/suicide.

The early Monday morning fire tragically took the lives of 39-year-old  Bernadine Pruessner and her 4 children. 9-year-old Ellie and Ivy, twin sisters, 2-year-old Millie and 6-year-old Jackson.

St. Louis County Police have now released new information that adds an even more appalling aspect to the story. Police say Bernadine intentionally set fire to a mattress igniting the inferno which took the family's lives. They also stated they found a note in which Bernadine stated her intentions.

An attorney for Bernadine stated, "Tragically, today the life of a wonderful mother, a brilliant educator and her 4 beautiful children were lost." He went on to suggest the tragic event was the culmination of ongoing litigation between Bernadine and the children's fathers, and she found herself in a dark and awful place.

Bernadine was a professor at a local community college.  Our prayers are with all the families affected by this unbelievable tragedy.
