 LAWMA Waste, Investigation, Surveillance and Enforcement operatives on night duty have apprehended two environmental offenders along the Jibowu and Ojota corridors of Ikorodu Road for engaging in illegal waste collection and indiscriminate disposal of refuse at unauthorized locations. The suspects, were arrested during routine surveillance operations after being found carrying out activities that constitute environmental nuisance and undermine approved waste management processes, despite repeated warnings and sensitization efforts. The offenders are being transferred to the Oshodi Task Force Office for prosecution through the Mobile Court in accordance with the environmental protection laws of Lagos State. LAWMA reiterates that illegal waste collection and indiscriminate dumping remain punishable offences.  “I know a lot but they won’t let me speak my truth” – Late Mohbad’s wife cries out


Omowunmi Aloba, the wife of the late singer Mohbad, has recently taken to social media to express her fears of facing the same fate as her husband.


Taking to her Instagram page, she bravely spoke of her deep understanding of his tragic end, recalling how those who tormented him silenced him through vicious rumors.


According to her, her husband faced continuous public assaults and lived in constant fear because of his tormentors


She mentioned knowing a lot but feeling unable to speak her truth due to her oppressors and expressed genuine fear that they might kill her as they did to her husband.
