 Emeka Kalu Withdraws from Abia North Senatorial Race A prominent Labour Party (LP) chieftain in Abia State, Dr. Emeka Kalu, has withdrawn from the Abia North Senatorial District race. Dr. Kalu announced his decision on Wednesday, stating that the move was designed to foster unity within the Labour Party and strengthen support for the administration of Governor Alex Otti ahead of future elections. In a statement issued to party stakeholders and supporters, Kalu explained that his withdrawal came after wide consultations and a careful assessment of the prevailing political situation in the party. He emphasized that the decision was taken in the overall interest of the party’s cohesion and success in Abia State.

Popular Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel has recalled a time in his life when he used to work at a printing press in Abeokuta, Ogun State.


The ‘Twe Twe’ crooner recalled this in his response to a fan’s request for a loan to start a printing business.


Adebayo Olam sought a financial help of N3 million and pledged a 15 percent return on investment to the music sensation.
