 Emeka Kalu Withdraws from Abia North Senatorial Race A prominent Labour Party (LP) chieftain in Abia State, Dr. Emeka Kalu, has withdrawn from the Abia North Senatorial District race. Dr. Kalu announced his decision on Wednesday, stating that the move was designed to foster unity within the Labour Party and strengthen support for the administration of Governor Alex Otti ahead of future elections. In a statement issued to party stakeholders and supporters, Kalu explained that his withdrawal came after wide consultations and a careful assessment of the prevailing political situation in the party. He emphasized that the decision was taken in the overall interest of the party’s cohesion and success in Abia State.

In 17 years I was DETAINED 8 times at various POLICE STATIONS in Abuja. In 17 years I was once detained at KUJE PRISON for 43 days. I went through hell in my country not because I am a CRIMINAL but because I say NO to CORRUPTION. Despite JUICY offers to fight OUTSIDE of Nig I NEVER GAVE UP ON MY DREAM to fight in Nig & I NEVER GAVE UP on Nig. Today, our dream is finally becoming a reality & because I am an EXTRAORDINARY HUMAN BEING, I am going to BOX until I am 70 years, retire YOUNG & HEALTHY with a LOT OF MONEY & then go on to b the PRESIDENT of Nig.
