 INEC DENIES REMOVING NDC CANDIDATES; CHALLENGES PARTY TO PRODUCE EVIDENCE INEC has described as falsehood the allegations by the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC that the Commission had removed candidates purportedly nominated by the party for the 2027 General Election and replaced them with names allegedly unknown to the party, particularly in respect of some State House of Assembly constituencies in Anambra State. Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Adedayo Oketola in a chat with our INEC Correspondent Mie Ogidi says INEC does not nominate candidates for political parties. The nomination of candidates is the responsibility of political parties, subject to compliance with the Constitution, the Electoral Act 2026 and other applicable laws, Regulations and Guidelines. Popular actress, Angela Okorie stirs frenzy as she makes staggering accusations against her colleague, Zubby Michael in a video that has captured attention online.


The movie star took to social media to vent at colleagues who are acting as impediment for others.


According to her, there are many big names in the industry who are always trying to use intimidation to oppress those who are beneath them.


She named Zubby Michael as one of such people on the list, and went on to describe how he conspires against her and try to derail her career.


Angela Okorie noted that there are a lot of backstabbing going on in the industry and she has decided to cut off connections from most of her colleagues.


Speaking further, she alleged that some of her colleagues secretly pay trolls to come online and insult her, since they cannot do it themselves.
