 Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area.  KDSG Orders Investigation Into Alleged Misconduct By KASTLEA Official


Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has ordered for thorough investigation into the alleged misconduct by an official of the Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority (KASTLEA) which was captured in a video that has now gone viral. 


In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mohammed Lawal Shehu says the said official was seen on video diverting money meant for government coffers to personal account by using Point of Sale POS machine. 


According to the Statement, Kaduna State Government reiterates its zero-tolerance for corrupt practices in its Ministries, Departments, Agencies and other state-owned institutions. 


It says the administration remains committed to protecting its citizens against fraudulent actions by a few bad eggs. 


The statement encourages residents to report any infractions to the appropriate authorities, as any official found guilty after thorough investigations will face the full wrath of the law.
