Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. Nollywood actress, Mary Njoku has stated that marriage is not an achievement.


The actress, who spoke while condemning women who are pressuring others to get married, noted that the majority of the married women are not happy in their marriages, but dare not say it out.


Buttressing her point in a post on her Instagram page, Njoku warned married women to allow the singles to breathe.


“Dear married women, Enough! Marriage is not an achievement. Finding the RIGHT partner is.


“Give the singles space to make the biggest decisions of their lives and find GOOD partners in peace. Over 60% of couples claim happiness often because of societal expectations. That was how Ifeoma was pushed to marry nonsense. Every weekend na hospital appointment for black eye, and spiritual warfare against physical side chicks.


“Yet she is among those trolling single girls for the same marriage. Rest Biko . Focus on the Economy! And Let the singles BREATHE.”

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
