 Aguleri–Umuoba Anam Crisis: Bishop Ekwe Urges Calm, Dialogue, Peaceful Resolution ‎ ‎By Nneka Ejeckam ‎ ‎The Bishop of the Diocese of Niger West, Anglican Communion, The Rt. Rev. Johnson N. Ekwe, has on October 2, called for calm and peaceful resolution following the reported crisis arising from a boundary dispute between Amaeze Aguleri and Umuoba Anam communities. ‎ ‎In a statement, Bishop Ekwe expressed sadness over the reported developments, including alleged casualties and destruction of property. He commiserated with affected families, prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and offered prayers for those who suffered losses. ‎ ‎The Bishop appealed to residents of both communities to remain calm, exercise restraint and avoid any further acts of violence or reprisal.  Odegbami predicts Nigeria's fate in AFCON


Former Nigeria striker,  Segun Odegbami,  has predicted Nigeria will emerge the winners of the ongoing African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Odegbami fondly called The Mathematical  tipped Nigeria and hosts, Ivory Coast to meet at the final of the competition in which he said  Nigeria will gain  upper hand.

The eminent sports personality who won the 1980 edition of the competition with the Nigerian  team then known as the Green Eagles, said, “I said long before the finals that we would be champions of Africa. Many people thought I was just sounding off. Now, they are seeing their light. Everyone appears to believe now that the Super Eagles can do it.

“Now that we are in the semi-finals, I am seeing that we are going to be playing the host nation, Ivory Coast in the final. We are beating South Africa and Ivory Coast will beat Democratic Republic of Congo. The stage is set for a classic final match on February 11.”

The Super Eagles of  Nigeria who will face  the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a semi- final encounter on Wednesday, defeated the Palancas Negras of Angola 1-0 in a  quarter final encounter.

At the group stage, the Eagles had shown superiority to the Ivorians whom they beat 1-0. They had afterwards gone to whip the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon 2-o in the a Round of 16 match.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
