 EFCC Arraigns Austrian For Undeclared $800,585, €651,505 At Lagos Airport The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Directorate 2, Okotie Eboh, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, January 9, 2026, arraigned one  Kavlak Onal, an Austrian national arrested by the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, for allegedly failing to declare the sums of $800,575 and €651,505 in his possession. He was arraigned before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi , Lagos.  Onal who was scheduled to travel on Emirates Airline to Dubai, was on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 intercepted  during a routine check at the AML/ CFT Currency Declaration Desk at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

Williamson County Sheriff's Department, Marion, Illinois- Deputies Respond To Unclothed Man In Homeowner’s Hot-tub Throwing Rocks At Residence


 

Williamson County, Illinois - On February 8, 2024, at 2150 hours Williamson County Sherriff’s Office Deputies responded to the report of a “naked man in a homeowner’s hot tub throwing rocks at the residence” in the area of Illinois Route 37 and Prosperity Road. 

 

Upon arrival, Deputies located an unclothed male in the homeowners hot tub, throwing hot tub accessories at the residence.  

 

The man was detained and later transported to an area hospital for evaluation.  

 

Due to the medical nature of the call the suspects name has not been released and no further law enforcement action is being taken.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
