 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. ROOMMATE CHARGED FOR STRANGLING A FELLOW STUDENT IN KENTUCKY. (PHOTO).

 Kentucky: Campbellsville University student found "deceased from strangulation" in his dorm room. Fellow teammate on wrestling team charged.


18-year-old, Josiah Kilman, was found unresponsive  in his dorm room on Saturday. He was later pronounced deceased at Taylor regional hospital. After finding Kilman the school was placed on temporary lock down, however it was lifted later in the evening. 

Officials report Kilman died as a result of manual strangulation.  Police have now officially arrested 21-year-old Charles Escalera in connection with the death.  Escalera was a teammate of Kilman in the Campbellsville wrestling team.  Escalera is being held on suspicion of murder but is also interestingly charged with aiding or abetting in the manual strangulation of Kilman.


Police say they have not discovered a motive at this point. Escalera is being represented by a public defender and is scheduled for a hearing on March 6th.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
