 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Special forces capture suspected kidnapper after gun battle in Ekiti State


The rapid deployment of special forces has led to the arrest of a suspected kidnapper along the Ikere-Igbara Odo Ekiti axis.

The operation, based on intelligence, culminated in a gun duel with the suspected kidnappers, leading to the capture of Salisu Dangani.

Addressing the newsmen at the scene of the arrest, Brigadier General Ebenezer Ogundana (retd), Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on Security Matters, stated that the suspect has been detained for further profiling.

Items confiscated from the suspect include a mobile phone, fabricated gun, torchlight, dagger, and substances suspected to be charms.

The swift and decisive action of the special forces demonstrated the state’s determination to tackle security threats effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of its residents.
