 Judge rejects Amy Winehouse's father’s lawsuit over sale of singer’s personal items  A London judge has ruled against Mitch Winehouse in a legal dispute over the sale of personal belongings once owned by his late daughter, singer Amy Winehouse. Mitch Winehouse, who serves as the administrator of the singer’s estate, brought the case against Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay, alleging they improperly profited from the sale of her memorabilia. He claimed the pair had no right to sell the items and did so without his knowledge, arguing they should not have benefited from the auctions. Amy Winehouse died in 2011 at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning at her home in London, bringing an end to a career that made her one of the most recognizable voices of her generation.  Sule Lamido Donates Multi Billion House To Jigawa University


Former Jigawa State Governor, Dr Sule Lamido has donated his country house to the Jigawa State government.


This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by Lamido’s media aide, Mansur Ahmed, in Dutse.


The edifice located at Bamaina village in Birnin kudu local government area of the state would be utilised as Institute for Islamic Studies and Research under the Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa.


Dr Sule Lamido said that he built the house with the hope of donating it for a cause after his demise.


He also promised to upgrade the house and construct additional structures befitting of a research centre.


“He dedicated the house as a way of giving back to the people, who trusted him and gave him the mandate to develop the state,” the statement says.


In his remarks, the Jigawa state secretary to the state government, Alhaji Bala Ibrahim commended the gesture, and described Sule Lamido as patriotic citizen who has passion for the development of the state and the country at large.
