 Tragedy in Lagos: Two Dead After Machete-Wielding Attacker Storms Lekki IMAX Cinema A horrific incident unfolded at the Filmhouse IMAX Cinema in the upscale Lekki area of Lagos State on Friday night, August 29, leaving two people dead following a violent confrontation with an armed intruder. Violent Confrontation at Cinema Entrance According to eyewitness accounts, a man armed with a machete and a knife attempted to force his way into the cinema premises. Onlookers reported that the assailant appeared to be highly intoxicated or under the influence of substances. When vigilant security personnel stationed at the entrance intercepted him to prevent entry, a violent scuffle ensued.
