 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings.  UCL: Osimhen in contention to face Barcelona – Napoli boss, Calzona


Napoli caretaker coach, Francesco Calzona, has provided a positive update on Victor Osimhen ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League clash with Barcelona.

Osimhen was left out of Napoli’s squad for last Saturday’s Serie A clash against Genoa.

The Nigeria international was not deemed fit enough to partake in the game after returning from Africa Cup of Nations with a minor muscular problem and fatigued.

Calzona, who was named as replacement for Walter Mazzarri on Tuesday revealed that the forward was involved in full training on Tuesday.

“Osimhen trained with the team, naturally it was not a long session, as we had many things to do, but he was working at full tempo,” Calzona told the media ahead of the game.

“All the players will be evaluated after tomorrow’s session.”

Napoli will host the first leg at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
