 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler.  UCL: Osimhen in contention to face Barcelona – Napoli boss, Calzona


Napoli caretaker coach, Francesco Calzona, has provided a positive update on Victor Osimhen ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League clash with Barcelona.

Osimhen was left out of Napoli’s squad for last Saturday’s Serie A clash against Genoa.

The Nigeria international was not deemed fit enough to partake in the game after returning from Africa Cup of Nations with a minor muscular problem and fatigued.

Calzona, who was named as replacement for Walter Mazzarri on Tuesday revealed that the forward was involved in full training on Tuesday.

“Osimhen trained with the team, naturally it was not a long session, as we had many things to do, but he was working at full tempo,” Calzona told the media ahead of the game.

“All the players will be evaluated after tomorrow’s session.”

Napoli will host the first leg at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday.
