 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.  OBINABO RECEIVES WOMAN WHOSE LANDLADY POURED HOT WATER ON, ASSURES OF JUSTICE.

Anambra State Women and Social Welfare Commissioner, Hon Ify Obinabo has received in her office Imabong Williams, woman whose landlady poured hot water on sometime last year.


Interacting with the woman, Hon Obinabo lamented over the high rate of wickedness exhibited by women against their fellow women and warned that anyone found perpetuating violent act against another wound be apprehended and prosecuted.


The Women Affairs boss called on women to be their brothers' keeper and show love instead of being inhumane.


Obinabo went further to state that the government of Prof Chukwuma Soludo will not tolerate any form of rascality assuring that the state government will not look the other way in getting justice for Imabong.


On her part, Imabong Williams appreciated the state for their prompt response in rescuing her and intimated the Honourable Commissioner of her reason for coming which is to know the extent her case has reached since she's been in the hospital.


She also notified the Anambra Women Affairs Boss of her perpetrators' plan to escape justice, which, according to her, was made known by the perpetrator's husband, Mr Ebere Okonkwo 


Recall that sometime in 2023, Imabong Williams was poured hot water mixed with pepper by her landlady Amaka Okonkwo who asked her to vacate the house over her inability to pay the new rent increment even whher rent expired last month.
