RCCG City of David parish excluded as family releases 6-day burial rites for Wigwe, wife, son
The family of the late Herbert Wigwe, the former group chief executive officer (GCEO) of Access Holdings Plc, has announced arrangements for his burial rites.

The burial rites for Herbert Wigwe, his wife, and his son have been announced by the family.
A funeral ceremony for Wigwe, his wife, and his son is scheduled to commence on Monday, March 4, 2024.
They lost their lives in a helicopter accident in the United States a few weeks ago.
The former Chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group Plc, Abimbola Ogunbanjo, was also aboard the aircraft and among those killed in the incident.

The City of David parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God where the late Wigwes worshipped was conspicuously excluded from the burial programme after the senior pastorās wife, Siju Iluyomade, held a talk of the town birthday party days after his demise. Many Nigerians have argued that the clericās wife who was like a spiritual mother to the Wigwes should have postponed her birthday party due to the unfortunate incident.
