 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. 17-YEAR-OLD TEXAS MAN WHO CROSSED CENTER LINE AND CRASHED INTO A VAN KILLING AN ENTIRE FAMILY OF 6 IS FACING MULTIPLE CHARGES. (PHOTO).

 17-year-old Texas man who crossed center line and crashed into a van killing an entire family of 6 is facing multiple charges. He wasn't arrested initially because of a medical condition. He was bailed out before he had to spend the night in jail. 


Luke Resecker is being charged with 6 counts of intoxication manslaughter, 2 counts of intoxication assault, possession of a controlled substance and possession of Marijuana. He was released on 50,000.00 bond.


These charges stem from the December 26th accident in which Resecker crossed the center line in a no passing zone and crashed head on into a Honda Odyssey occupied by Lokesh Potabathula's entire family. 6 people were killed including Lokesh's wife and 2 children, his wife's parents and his cousin. Lokesh was the only survivor in the Odyssey. 


Resecker never spent a night in jail due to ongoing medical issues and his bond was paid once it was set by the court.


His father paid the $50,000 Bond.
