 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. 17-YEAR-OLD TEXAS MAN WHO CROSSED CENTER LINE AND CRASHED INTO A VAN KILLING AN ENTIRE FAMILY OF 6 IS FACING MULTIPLE CHARGES. (PHOTO).

 17-year-old Texas man who crossed center line and crashed into a van killing an entire family of 6 is facing multiple charges. He wasn't arrested initially because of a medical condition. He was bailed out before he had to spend the night in jail. 


Luke Resecker is being charged with 6 counts of intoxication manslaughter, 2 counts of intoxication assault, possession of a controlled substance and possession of Marijuana. He was released on 50,000.00 bond.


These charges stem from the December 26th accident in which Resecker crossed the center line in a no passing zone and crashed head on into a Honda Odyssey occupied by Lokesh Potabathula's entire family. 6 people were killed including Lokesh's wife and 2 children, his wife's parents and his cousin. Lokesh was the only survivor in the Odyssey. 


Resecker never spent a night in jail due to ongoing medical issues and his bond was paid once it was set by the court.


His father paid the $50,000 Bond.
