 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. 18-YEAR-OLD WHO WENT MISSING WAS FOUND DEAD. (PHOTO).

UPDATE:

Officials have released that 18-year-old, Carson Hughes, passed away due to "cold water drowning" in Versailles Lake where he was taking photographs. He went missing from Versailles Lake in Ripley County, Indiana Friday and was unfortunately found deceased Sunday afternoon.

 Carson was an accomplished nature photographer despite his young age.

Carson had a large following on social media as a result of his amazing photography.  He attended Jac-Çen-Del high school where he was on the basketball team. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Carson Hughes and the community as a whole. The loss of such an amazing young man is heartbreaking.


 18-year-old, Carson Hughes, went missing from Versailles Lake in Ripley County, Indiana Friday and was unfortunately found deceased Sunday afternoon.


The Indiana Department of Natural Resources have confirmed the body of Carson Hughes was found in around 6 ft of water. They were able to find him using Sonar devices.


Carson was reported missing on Friday after his car was found unlocked with the keys inside. His kayak was also on the water and his photography tri-pod was set up. Carson was an accomplished nature photographer despite his young age.


Carson's cause of death is pending the medical examiners autopsy.


Carson had a large following on social media as a result of his amazing photography.  He attended Jac-Çen-Del high school where he was on the basketball team. 


The whole community is in shock and disbelief at the loss of Carson who has been described as an amazing young man. Residences in the community are putting up red and white banners as well as local schools encouraging students to wear red and white on Tuesday, in honor of Carson.


Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Carson Hughes and the community as a whole. The loss of such an amazing young man is heartbreaking.
