 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL WAS RAPED BY THREE MEN REPEATEDLY IN IMO STATE. (PHOTO).

 12 year old girl suffers vaginal injuries and contracted STD after being repeatedly r@ped by three men in Imo


Detectives of the Imo State Police Command through painstaking and diligent investigations have arrested three suspects identified as Joseph Onyema, ’m’, 35 yrs, Uzoma Nwanoreze, ‘m’, 30yrs, and Eberechukwu Nwosu ‘m’ age 43yrs, for allegedly d€filing a 12-year-old girl (name withheld). 


Investigation by the police revealed that the suspects had unlawful c@rnal knowledge of the minor on different occasions which made her develop serious virginal injuries as well as a s£xually transmitted disease. 


The victim is currently receiving intense medical care at the hospital. The suspects will have their day in court upon completion of a discreet investigation.


Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Okoye Henry said the state Commissioner of Police Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma while condemning the barbaric acts in totality, calls on the well-meaning resident of Imo State to support the Police in the onslaught against defilement, rape, and other sexual related crimes in the State. He affirmed that such societal menace is utterly condemnable and perpetrators will be made to face the wrath of the law.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
